Hair Transplant
Hair transplant is a procedure in which hair is extracted from specific areas where it never falls out, such as the sides of the head and the back (donor areas), and transferred to bald areas of the scalp (recipient areas). After an initial shedding at 2 or 3 weeks, the transplanted hair regrows in 2 or 3 months (adaptation period) and stays there for the same duration it would have remained in its original location, retaining the same color and characteristics of its original zone. The results are permanent and last a lifetime.

Recovery
At the beginning, small scabs form in the recipient areas, which disappear within a few days. While the scabs are present, no sports should be performed, and hair washing should be done daily with an antiseptic soap. After this time, the patient can resume their normal activities and use regular shampoo, dye, and cut their hair, etc. Pain is manageable with standard analgesics for the first 2 or 3 days. Recovery is immediate, and no dressing is required. The final result is not noticeable until 10 or 12 months after the procedure.
